Ok, so I've decided to dip my toes into the wild world of Youtube. It's pretty much terrifying. I am also the least tech-savvy person on the planet, so I have A LOT to learn.
That said, here is my first attempt. It was filmed with my iPhone, and is viewable in HD formats. The sound is a bit low, so you will likely need to adjust the volume (working on that).
Please let me know what you think - I greatly appreciate comments and feedback, especially if you also post on Youtube. (I have a review video uploading now, so hopefully I should be able to get that up later today as well.)
Congrats, Maggie! For your first video, I think you were absolutely smashing! The sound is a little low, but I think it might be a case of you not talking loudly enough, cause from the mid-way point on when you seemed more comfortable, I could hear you much better! Love the new Sephora downtown (my girlfriend is lead makeup tech there!) and the Atelier colognes are to die for; I'm actually wearing Orange Sanguine right now! And Tom Ford Private Blend...don't even get me started! I could bathe in Tobacco Vanille, that's how much I love it! I'm dying to try the Ellis Faas too - may check them out this weekend!

Ah Eugenia, thank you so much!! My stomach was in knots while filming and for a good while after posting. I'm not a natural extrovert, so speaking into a camera for public consumption was a very strange experience. But hey, I like a challenge. :P
DeleteI tried the Vanille Insensée, which was an interestingly dusty, woody, non-gourmand vanilla, and the Santal Blush, which the perfume expert at the store said turned to skanky butt (my interpretation of her more polite description) on most people. On me, thankfully, it was a lovely musky sandalwood.

A Fall collections "recon" trip sounds exactly like what we should do! Then we'll stop for some much needed sustenance while we drool over our bounty, lol! We'll definitely have to plan something!

Just a thought, but it might be easier to copy past a Youtube badge on your sidebar; simply google "youtube icons and/or badges" and see where that leads!
